Hi friends ,

I was having this wonder plant in my house since childhood but I never knew that this plant is having such magical powers in it. It is known by many names like Air plant, Life plant, Mother of thousands, Miracle leaf. In hindi it is known by Patharchattam, Patharchur, Pather Chat, Paan-futti names. In my house i have heard my parents and relatives, even the neighbours calling it Dard mar. I believe they call it by this name because it gives relief in Pain. Its scientific name is” “bryophyllum pinnatum”.

It is very good and useful in Arthritis, Kidney stones and small gall bladder stones, inflammation and hypertension.

Taking fresh juice of its leaves every day, one can get relief from jaundice.

Chewing 2-3 leaves or taking its juice every morning and night, I mean twice a day, helps in removing stones from kidney and gall bladder. It is believed that kidney stones can dissolve and pass out through urine.

Taking its juice , 2tbsp, twice a day, helps a person in cholrea.

For ear discharge ('Kaan ka behna' in hindi) and pain in ear, take warm yellow leaves of Patharchatta and extract its juice. Put few drops in ear.

For blood mixed Diarrhoea mix Patharchatta leaf juice(3 ml), jeera (3 g) and ghee (6 g) (clarified butter) and take regulary for few days.

Mix leaf juice with black pepper powder and take regularly for few days if you are suffering from Piles or Haemorrhoids.…

My Dreams

Dear Friends even after being a member of this Community of achievers for so long the DAILY routine gave me no time to contribute to this worthy cause. Many a times I wanted to think of this fabulous opportunity to think and rethink of my DREAMS that drive my LIFE. Every life, and to be very precise, nearly every act of life, is actually driven by a need a dream and all of us just keep going forward towards it's realisation. All What we are and all that we hope to be is actually envisaged in our dreams of our future. Our Happiness, our Love, our relations, our failures and our successes are all outcomes of our dreams. Some of them sombre, depicting our fears, and others filled with optimism and hope, depicting our actual DREAMs of what we really want to be.

It is well that we can DREAM, so let there be dreams and especially the DRIVING DREAMS that will cement our desired future.
